National Volunteer Week 20-26 May 2019

National Volunteer Week is the annual celebration to acknowledge the generous contribution of our nation’s volunteers. The theme for National Volunteer Week 2019, from 20-26 May is ‘Making a world of difference’ with thousands of events scheduled across the country to say thank you to the 6 million Australians who volunteer their time.

Volunteers are vital to our work in supporting parishes and Catholic social services agencies who assist the most vulnerable in our community. If you’re looking for an opportunity to contribute to the Church’s mission in reaching out to the poor and the marginalised and would like to contribute in any way, then please contact us!

Many of our member organisations also rely on volunteers. Click here to view a full list of members seeking volunteers. They’d also love to hear from you!
